About this Coffee
This recent arrival of Kauai coffee from the Big Island cooperative exhibits many of the same attributes we enjoyed from the Kona lots: a lasting sweetness across all roast levels, a balanced acidity, and a juicy body. The warm Pacific sun, rich volcanic earth, abundant mountain rain and cool trade winds of Kauai create ideal conditions for growing outstanding coffee. Flavor notes are bright and sweet with notes of tangerine, tart cherry, caramel, honey and toasted hazelnut.
